Dear Students,

Elite Cosmetology School (the “School”) and its primary business owner, MNRJM, Inc., are excited to provide an important update regarding the School’s planned change in ownership.

We are pleased to announce that CR’U Institute of Cosmetology and Barbering, Inc. (“CR’U”) will be acquiring full ownership control of the School in a transaction that is expected to be finalized on or after June 1, 2025. This timeline is, of course, contingent upon completing the necessary approval processes with the College’s regulatory agencies, including the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences, and the United States Department of Education.

CR’U owns and operates the CR’U Institute of Cosmetology and Barbering located in Garden Grove, California. The CR’U Institute strives to provide a professional curriculum in a positive, highly motivated atmosphere, where the focus is on each student’s success. The CR’U Institute is committed to producing gainfully employable, industry-savvy graduates, achieving their career goals, and becoming licensed professionals. As we look forward to the future, we are excited and optimistic about the new opportunities and advancements that CR’U’s ownership will bring.

Jodi Hussey and I plan to continue serving in an active role at the School after the planned change in ownership is finalized. We will keep you updated as this process progresses and we will schedule meetings where CR’U representatives will visit with students, either virtually or on-campus.
