HOW WE TEACH

Our staff of talented and dedicated professionals promotes excellence through effective education, strategic industry training, high-quality products and a hands-on approach to skill building.

As a Redken-sponsored school, we incorporate product knowledge with all curriculum, as well as a salon business program developed exclusively for Elite students. Our students spend 12 weeks in the classroom covering basic fundamentals and principles before venturing to the Elite Salon to finesse their talents. Students also receive continual mentoring through their education, with monthly one-on-one meetings with educators who track progress and offer perspective.

WHERE WE TEACH

We teach in the classroom and on the studio floor. Located in Palm Desert, California, our students come from around the country to experience the Elite Effect. And the strength in knowledge, skills and business savvy our students graduate with allows them to travel the globe, and work at any top tier salon, school, or other aspects within the cosmetology industry.

The following are agencies, which set minimum standards for our program of studies in accordance with their individual requirements:

  • The State of California Department Consumer Affairs – Bureau of Barbering and Cosmetology-Lic.#08005 – Provides licenses to graduates upon passing the Barbering and Cosmetology Bureau examination. barbercosmo.ca.gov

  • Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education – School Code #88680715 –Elite Cosmetology School is a private Institution and is approved to operate since initially approved on 10.27.2010. Approval to operate means compliance with state standards as set forth in CEC and 5, CCR. bppe.ca.gov

  • Elite Cosmetology School is accredited by National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS) naccas.org
